Summary:
As a Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-quality software solutions as part of an agile team. This position combines high-level system architecture design with hands-on problem-solving to create robust and secure solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of our users and business.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in software architecture, a background in building and optimizing scalable systems, and a proven ability to implement and manage robust integrations with cloud and SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to create high-quality system solutions that align with business objectives and strategic goals.
• Conduct analysis with stakeholders to define and document business requirements and workflow process changes for integrations.
• Support the development and technical quality of applications and integrations, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems (on-premises and cloud).
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
• Promote software quality through agile best practices and continuous delivery/deployment techniques.
• Participate in Scrum events to deliver working software increments and ensure backlog readiness.
• Develop, refactor, debug, and review code, ensuring technical debt is addressed promptly.
• Follow coding standards, secure coding practices, and team workflows.
• Mentor and coach team members to promote skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Manage and optimize production environments, including capacity planning, monitoring, and configurations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 6/12 years of experience developing .NET Core applications and APIs, with familiarity or hands-on experience in .NET 8.
• Proven experience building applications using the Azure technology stack, with exposure to other cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard protocols such as OAuth and OpenID Connect, and governance practices for API management.
• Extensive experience in modern, cloud-based development, including writing quality code, debugging, testing, and managing builds and releases.
• Expertise in database design and scripting with MSSQL and SQL/T-SQL, including experience with SQL Server and EF Core.
• Hands-on experience with continuous delivery and automated deployment practices.
• Proficiency in Azure, with working knowledge of other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Bonus Points if you’ve worked with or have:

• Familiarity with the security domain and compliance frameworks, including tools for automated compliance assessment and reporting.
• Experience with Azure Container Instances or similar serverless platforms for deploying and managing scalable, containerized applications.
• Experience with tools or frameworks for automated compliance assessments and reporting in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or other scripting languages for automation and development tasks.
• Hands-on experience managing and operating SaaS platforms, including integration and configuration.
