Summary:

The Cloud Consultant is instrumental in delivering and implementing cutting-edge secure cloud solutions, primarily focusing on the Microsoft cloud platforms. This role involves active participation in both delivery and pre-sales support, ensuring that all cloud solutions meet the highest standards of security and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pre-sales team by understanding customer requirements and helping to craft tailored solutions within the Microsoft cloud environment.
• Execute the delivery of Microsoft cloud solutions, emphasizing security and operational excellence.
• Create and manage detailed technical documentation, including design blueprints, deployment guides, as-builts, and operational best practices.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure successful and secure deployment of cloud solutions.
• Review and validate solution designs and configurations to comply with security standards and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership in project implementations and ensure seamless integration and alignment with client infrastructures.

Requirements

• Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in cloud computing, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Purview, and Defender.
• Demonstrable understanding of cloud security principles and standards.
• Proven track record in successful cloud solution delivery and pre-sales engagements.
• Exceptional documentation skills, capable of creating detailed and accurate technical documents.
• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues within cloud infrastructures.
• Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical details to varied audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent time management.
• Ability to work bit independently, and as part of a project team.

Essential Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert.

Desired Skills

• Additional certifications or experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform are beneficial.
• Experience with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell or Azure CLI is preferred.
